Casey Crawford was a tight end for the Carolina Panthers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2000-2002.  He caught a grand total of five catches for 57 yards and one lone touchdown.  He also recovered a fumble and had three tackles.  His career was a complete bust, except it wasn't.  He was on a team that went to the Superbowl, and got to essentially have sideline Superbowl seats for free!  How epic would that be.  He also probably made around the league, which would account for about $600,000 over those three years back then.  What is he doing now?

Casey Crawford the business man, owns Movement Mortgage, which is set to become an $8 billion mortgage company.  He has made a successful run as a business man, for sure.  The company is turning into a big time business since it's inception in 2008.  For more, read the msn article here.

I don't really have much to add in the way of comedy or first person experience.  What I am really trying to do here, is let people know that not all athletes are thugs and just athletic idiots, as the media has perceived a ton of them to be by focusing on the negative.  I say, good for Casey Crawford!
